Great Day!

Hey Everyone!

I woke up and went upstairs to get some breakfast. Instead of eating, however, I ended up mopping the kitchen and sunroom floors. After that, my mom made me a delicious ham and egg sandwich with fresh cherry preserves. That broad knows how to cook! Immediately after breakfast, I got ready and headed over to a neighbor's house to check out her yard (she wants me to do some yardwork for her). We talked for a while and she showed me her property. It looks like a lot of work but she's pretty cool and she'll [obviously] compensate me for it. Before I left, I asked her about her tag (2143). She said she'd sell it to me for $10,000. So I said yes. HAHA just kidding I wish. From there, I stopped back at my house really quick to grab my camera and left to pick up Paige.

After I picked her up, we stopped at Wachovia and then drove up through Greenville to check for any Saturday tags:

Haha that last one is intense - that's SO close to the limit! While we drove up through Centerville, it started to DOWNPOUR! Shortly after that, Nilsa called us to tell us the game was cancelled and that we should just go to their house. We headed up to their house and chilled for a bit. Julian's racing game for Xbox has the ability to customize your license plates with different states and all - of course we used Delaware and I suggested the number 4 on a Ferrari F355. Sweet deal! Shortly after, we headed to Season's Pizza on 202 for some food and then headed out for our trip to F.C. Kerbeck!

We headed up through PA and finally, after about 40 minutes of yelling and screaming, we pulled up to F.C. Kerbeck. We were greeted by three salespeople, asking us if we needed help to find out where to go. We headed up to the second floor, which houses Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini. We took tons of pictures so check them out! Julian asked the salesman to open the door on the LP640 and he agreed to. He even let us all get inside and sit in it! We got to talking and he told me a little bit about their sales - about 1-2 Gallardos per month, 1 Murcielago every two months, and about 15 Bentleys per month. That That was a great experience! After that, we headed downstairs to check out the Maseratis and Aston Martins. I was pretty surprised to see a DBS in stock! It was nice but not as nice as the upstairs portion. Before we headed out, we walked through the second floor one more time. Man those cars are hot. Paige fell in love with the sky blue Bentley Continental GTC - I don't blame her haha. We headed out and headed to the King of Prussia Mall. We only went into Foot Locker, the Hello Kitty Store, Hollister, and Louis Vuitton. After that, we headed to check out Algar Ferrari and then went to my Aunt Tammy's house because there was a family party in progress. We grabbed a small bite to eat and headed back to Delaware. Justin came back with me so that was cool. After we dropped Roberto and Julian off, we headed down through Greenville and the only tag I saw was PC478:

My regular parking lots were EMPTY! Like - there were zero cars in there. I was amazed. I dropped Paige off and, before I got home, I got a call from a neighbor in response to the flyer I distributed around Commodore 1 and 2. His mower broke down today and he needs 1 or 2 cuts in the next few weeks. That's okay though - it's still income and hopefully he'll recommend me to other neighbors. I got home, uploaded the pictures, and now I'm chillin. Great day!

GRRRR!

Today was THE WORST DAY for LDT sightings. Tom and I woke up around 8:30am, showered, and left for Dover around 9:15. We stopped at McDonalds in Smyrna - what a great experience! Everyone was very friendly, the food came out fresh and promptly, and it was a nice sunny day. After we finished eating, we got back on Rt. 13 to head to Dover. This weekend is Race Weekend at Dover Downs - it's where the big Nascar races are held twice a year. Dover was PACKED with RVs, trailers, etc. It was mayhem down there. Luckily, we didn't hit any traffic. We drove through Dover and we didn't see ONE plate until we left, and it was a high one (in the mid-700s). In general, I was pretty disappointed at the selection (or lack thereof) in Dover on a Friday morning. The one good thing was that we found the reserved parking spot for the secretary of state, who has tag #3. We headed back to Middletown, where Tom would head back home and I would go to pick up Paige.

I took my dad's Saab up to Wilmington to get Paige - had the top down the whole ride. We drove through Greenville since it was on the way home and saw a few good plates - a lot of double-digits but I had already seen them all. I think I ended up with six total pictures for the day. I drop Paige off and go home to upload my pictures. I connect the cable and transfer the pictures over and BAM they're all grey. I lost ALL my pictures from today! Ugh I was so upset. Like Tom said, I guess it today wasn't meant to be. After a short nap, I headed upstairs to cook dinner. I washed this salmon fillet we got at Costco and rubbed in the potlatch seasoning from Williams & Sonoma - mmm best stuff! I threw the salmon on a cedar plank on the grill and made some rice and salad. My mom called me while I was making the rice and she informed me that they were just checking out at Costco and had to stop at Giant. I was pretty mad about that, since the food had to sit for about 45 minutes! Ugh! I got over it though haha.

After dinner, I weed-wacked around the yard and then my dad and I washed our cars together. Aww. How bonding-ish. Now I'm just chillin here. Tomorrow I'm going to Julian's lacrosse game in West Chester and then I'm taking Roberto, Julian, and hopefully Paige to F.C. Kerbeck in NJ. That will be fun! Shout-out to Danielle!

Yay No More Escuela!

Finally! No more school. ... til August haha.

Woke up around 10 and gave Alexa piano lessons. Right after piano lessons, my dad asked me if I wanted to go to Costco - of course I said yes! I convinced him to take me to Greenville first haha. We got up there and my dad immediately spotted PC7 - go him! The first car we saw was PC76 on a Bentley Continental Flying Spur:

What a great way to start the day! I also saw PC278 and PC662 in Greenville. After that, we headed down to the Szechuan restaurant for some lunch. It was amazing, as always. Boss was chatting with some people as they were walking out and we were paying and he told us he watched her grow up over the past 30 years. I told him that was incredible and he reminded me that he watched me grow up too. Ahh memories! As we left Szechaun, we spotted a live sighting of PC400 - good sighting! We then headed to Costco and parked RIGHT BEHIND tag 59:

Another fabulous sighting. We went into Costco and did our thing. Before we headed out of the Costco lot, we spotted tag 411. We then headed home and chilled for a bit. I finished two math practice finals and talked to Danielle and Jon for a while. Good people :]

I got to Newark at 7pm on the dot, only to find out that my math final was not in the same room I thought it was going to be. I called my dad and he got the right room off the web - at least what I thought was the right room. It turned out that the room posted on the website was next to the room that I thought it was in (but wasn't). I went into there and the professor in there walked me to yet another room haha. I took my math final and headed promptly to Homegrown to meet Tom. We had dinner and strolled up and down Main St. That was fun. Tom wanted to get a lotto ticket but they were closed for inventory. We headed back to the car - Tom drove me to my car (I walked to Homegrown initially) and we headed back to my house. On the way home, I spotted tag 311 but unfortunately couldn't get a picture! I was so pissed!

We got home, looked over some math problems, and watched the Top Gear on the Lambo Murcielago. Funny stuff. He's sleeping now and I'm about to get in bed. Night night :]

Boring Summer Day

Woke up around 9am. Bored. Bullshitted around the house for a few hours. My dad made burgers on the grill for lunch - they were bangin. I eventually headed to Dover to hunt for tags. It was a pretty ritual trip. Spotted 884 in Smyrna. Got to Dover and the first tag I spotted was 95 on an SL500.

Other tags in Dover were 173 and C730 on a school bus haha.

After downtown Dover, I headed to the Dover Downs parking lot and spotted dealer tag 11 on the way out:

Good stuff. I came home and napped until choir rehearsal. Went to choir, came home, chilled. Pretty standard day. I really want to see tags 1-3. I need to find them. I'm pretty lonely though. I need more friends. Bye.

Impromptu Day

Woke up around 8am and wrote some emails to tag brokers in Delaware. I also started to call some lawn companies to get some estimates. One guy, Mike, came to the house and we walked around the grounds so he could check it out. He mentioned something about hiring someone else to help him so I've been pondering that. After he left I went to eat arepas with my dad, uncle Greg, and Justin. We talked for a while about tags and lawn - see how I can make a living out of one (or both) of them. We came up with some pretty interesting ideas. I love talking to my uncle Greg because he is truly a business genius. After some talking, my uncle Greg asked if there was anything to do and I proposed we go to the beach - he accepted. We all took quick showers, got dressed, and headed out!

On the way down, I spotted tag C169. Pretty sweet stuff!

Once we got to the beach, we headed through Lewes. No tags but nice sights. We then took a slight detour to get to the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club. In the surrounding neighborhood, we spotted tag 66 in a garage:

We then drove around and i MISSED tag 160. I was so pissed! After the RBYCC we went down to Rehoboth Ave to get some Thrashers and to some steak sub shop. Unfortunately, we had to get them to go because we were running late on time. We started to head back home but my dad and I switched driving in Lewes so I could sit in the back and eat my cheesesteak. We got home at 3:25 and I immediately headed up to Greenville to teach piano.

On my way up, I spotted tag 41:

I got to the house around 4pm but they weren't there! I used the time to hunt for low tags in the Greenville/Wilmington area. As I drove through Greenville, the only tag I saw was this:

Heh that's SO intense. I started to drive more through Wilmington but I looked at my gas gauge and I was almost empty. Unfortunately, I had to head home. Blah. I got home - chilled, napped, ate dinner, talked to Spiffy. The usual. Tomorrow I may go to Dover. Talk to you then :]

A Memorial Day to Remember

I woke up around 7am and immediately showered. After that, I bullshitted on the computer for a bit and helped my mom and uncle Greg get ready for our Memorial Day BBQ. At around 9:25am, I left for Dover to meet my buddy Tyler so we could hunt for LDTs (low-digit tags) in Sussex County. Right before I met up with Tyler, I spotted D97 at Dover VW.

Before we headed to Sussex County, we stopped through Dover - there was absolutely nothing.

We then headed to a few car dealerships in Milford. The best thing we saw was plate 578 but it was in a garage and there was a guy standing right next to it. I felt a little bit uncomfortable taking the picture so we let it slide. We headed into historic Milford to some school bus yards. My friend Tyler is really into school buses and LDTs so he knows where all the low-digit C tags are, including C90. In one bus yard, we saw (all black tags) C806, C472, and C463. Unfortunately, we never got to see C90 but Tyler said he's going to try to get a picture of it this week. We decided to then drive past the Minner family home in the farm area of Milford and then head to Milton and Harbeson. There was nothing in Milton but in Harbeson, we spotted this:

That was the second-best highlight of our trip!

After that, we headed to Lewes. The roads were FULL of cops and speed traps. We finally got to Lewes and started to drive around - I had no idea that Lewes was so big! Among the tags we saw in Lewes were 645, PC215 (on a beach tag!), PC255, 251, and 185. We then headed to a fairly exclusive development in Lewes and saw PC970, PC577, and PC408. After exhausting all LDT possibilities, we promptly headed over to Rehoboth Beach.

First we drove through the Rehoboth Beach Country Club and Yacht Club and the surrounding neighborhood. Three words. OH. MY. GOD. These houses are ENORMOUS! I will definitely be going there more often.

Here's the breakdown:
  • In the surrounding neighborhood
    • PC639, C692, 218, 777
  • At the RBCC
    • 234, 277, 984, D1, 914
  • Near the beach
    • 293
After Rehoboth, we headed back to Dover to part ways. We decided to stop at Wendy's on Rt. 1 in Rehoboth. I'm not kidding when I tell you that it took us 20 minutes from the time we walked in the door to the time we left with our carryout food. The work ethic in that location was terrible! There were two hourly employees and a manager in the dining room, chatting and gossiping, while this poor older lady worked the whole front counter by herself. I felt terrible! What happened that the work ethic in the country is so bad? Sometimes I'm ashamed of being an American.

We headed back to Dover and, after sitting in 75 minutes of traffic for a drive that should have taken 35 minutes. As soon as we got back to Dover, I suggested that we stop back at Legislative Hall one more time to scout out the reserved parking spots for the governor, lieutenant governor, and the secretary of state (tags 1, 2, and 3). The only one we could find was the lieutenant governor's. Sad.

I got back home around 4:30 and partied all night with all the extended family. The one big highlight of the night was talking to my mom, dad, uncle Mark, aunt Erika, and uncle Greg about how to turn my obsession with Delaware LDTs into a business. Sorry I didn't write more about the party - I'm exhausted. Internship tomorrow. Yuck. Later.

Summer Days

I woke up around 7:45am sans alarm and I totally thought I overslept for church. Thank god I didn't though! On the way to church, I spotted C79 - I estimate that to be worth around $70,000:

I got to church and did the church thing. I'm glad we're finally on one service. That's much more convenient for me. After church, I headed to the Costco parking lot to browse for plates but saw nothing. After Costco, I went to the mall and saw SJ1 (St. Joe's University) and PC637:

I got home and basically just chilled with my family and my uncle Greg, who's up from South Carolina for a week or so. Rakeen came over and we played some basketball and then ate some dinner - hot dogs and hot sausages - and I grilled! Then Rakeen, Justin and I went to Brusters in Middletown and then just came home. It was a boring but very relaxing day. Tomorrow I'm headed to Dover, the beaches and Sussex county with my friend Tyler to hunt for tags. Then later all my extended family is coming for a big barbeque. More to come tomorrow!

Shout-out to DS!

Productive Day!

Oh man I was so productive today! I woke up around 8:30am and immediately went upstairs, not expecting to do anything - not even to do my Saturday Greenville trip. I was greeted by my mom, who was putting new fabric on our kitchen chairs and bar stools. I talked to her for a bit as I helped her remove the staples from the bottom of the chair cushions. Long story short, I talked her into going to Greenville with me as long as we stopped at a few supermarkets on the way back. We also went in her car, which saved me gas so that was pretty rad.

We left the house around 9:25am and made a not-so-quick stop at Dunkin Donuts. I'm not kidding you when I say we sat in that drive-thru for about five minutes. We left there and immediately headed up to Greenville. We stopped into Jansson's for a few minutes to check it out and buy a few things. They had an orchid there for $150 haha that is RIDICULOUS! We headed out and didn't really see any low-digit tags other than this:

We headed to Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington and, while my mom stopped into the Pathmark, I drove around the area to hunt for LDTs, but to no avail. We left and headed towards Kirkwood Highway. On our way, I spotted tag 133 but I couldn't get a picture - lame!

Next, we stopped at the dry cleaners to drop some stuff off and then headed to the pool store to pick up somethin for the pool - obviously haha. We headed to Shop-Rite the back way and I spotted PC545. We got to Shop-Rite and bought some stuff and ate some food. Nothin too intense there. We left and went to Costco and the mall to hunt for LDTs. The only thing there was PC351. My mom ran into the mall really quick to pick up some spice from Willams & Sonoma and then we headed home.

I got home and relaxed for a bit. Then I weed-wacked around the perimeter of our yard. Shortly after that, I washed my car and Alexa's car and waxed mine. Alexa kindly vacuumed my car, her car, and my mom's car. That was nice of her to do. After that, we ate dinner and relaxed. Then Tom came down and we went to Outback so he could eat. We stopped at Homegrown but they were carding at the door and I forgot my wallet. I applied for a job at Outback and I'm going to go into the restaurant on Wednesday to talk to the hiring manager a little more.

I just got back and now I'm telling you all about it! Have a good night :]

Thursday-Friday

Okay so this entry is going to cover Thursday 5/22 and Friday 5/23.

Thursday was a fairly simple day. I had two rehearsals in Newark in the morning for the two
juries that would take place on Friday. Then I went to Greenville to spot tags - I saw this:

Not a bad sighting for a random Greenville trip! After Greenville, I headed over to my internship, where I finished off a season press release and talked more with Lee, the Executive Director. Long story short, I should be out of there by mid-June. Yay.

I got home and did three hours worth of trig homework and then studied for my music history final from 11:30pm - 1:00am, all while doing two loads of laundry. I finally got to bed around 1:30am.

Friday, I met Allie at 8:55am and we tuned real quick before her 9am jury. After the jury, we headed over the Eagle Diner and had some breakfast. I saw PC540 in the parking lot. Unfortunately, I had to cram at breakfast for my 10:30 music history final but it was nice company. Allie even helped me studied, which helped a lot. The next jury was at 12:40pm so I went to Greenville - again. Today's weather was absolutely beautiful - 71 degrees and sunny! I spotted 75, 422, and 139. Good stuff. I then proceeded back to Newark to meet Melanie and rehearsed with her for 15 minutes before we headed over to her jury. I got done the jury and headed home.

When I got home, I made a few burgers and hot dogs on the grill for my brother, my mom, my dad, and myself. After that, I just chilled in my room and played basketball with Justin and Rakeen until dinner was ready. My mom and dad made chicken and rice with a great salad and good challah bread. After dinner I drove around Middletown with Greg from church. We went into Friendlys and I saw all my old friends! It was great! After that, I came home and here i am!

Shout-out to Danielle!

I Drove SO MUCH Today...

... but it was worth it!

I woke up at 7:30 and studied and showered. Then I drove to Newark to take my accounting final - thank god that's over! I got home around 10:25am to learn that my mom, my dad, AND my grandma were coming with me to Dover and Rehoboth! That was a pleasant surprise!

We got to Dover around 11am and I showed them all the government buildings and downtown Dover. I also explained to my grandma how I'm obsessed with low-digit Delaware license plates and I told her the significance. No more than five minutes passed by when she started to spot some! She got so excited! Haha I was loving it! We left Dover after 15-20 minutes of touring and headed to Rehoboth.

Once we got to Rehoboth, we went to the outlets for about 30 minutes. Then we headed to Crabby Dick's for lunch. I had THE MOST amazing cream of crab soup. For our entrees, we had AMAZING jumbo lump crab cakes!!!! Ugh I will definitely be going back there ASAP. Fortunately, there is one in Delaware City, which is like ten minutes from my casa. After lunch, we headed to Rehoboth Ave. I dropped them off and drove around Rehoboth to catch some sweet license plates. After I collected what I needed, I went and picked them up. As soon as we pulled away, that's when the fun started.

My mom, my dad, and my grandma all started pointing out low-digit tags all over the place. We saw 501, 552, 325, 642. What was nice is that I stopped tag 89 right before that! The ride home was peaceful/boring, since everyone else was sleeping. I got home around 4:40pm and immediately headed up to Greenville to teach piano.

As soon as I got to their house, one of the girls had dropped a pencil down in the depths of the piano so we had to take the keyboard out and find the pencil! That was intense. I finished up there and went to choir rehearsal, which was productive. Now I'm beat and going to bed. Night!

Almost Done

One final down, three to go.

Tonight I had my music management final. It was easy.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is my accounting final. Then I'm going to Dover and Rehoboth Beach with my mom, my dad, my nana, and possibly Tom. That will be awesome! Then I have to be in Greenville at 5 for piano lessons and then a choir rehearsal from 7:30-9:00. Usually I wouldn't want to drive to Greenville after driving all day and during rush hour traffic, but I don't mind because I will be searching for tags in Dover, Rehoboth Beach, AND Greenville. I hope I see some good ones.

Thursday I have two rehearsals - I'm playing for two friends' juries on Friday. Also, I have to go into my internship on Thursday to talk to the webmaster for OperaDelaware. I hope that goes well because I really want to seal that deal ASAP.

Friday I have two juries with a music history in between them. That will be pretty easy as long as I study the night before. I seem to absorb information better if I only study for a short time - I tend to think about it less. It sounds weird but it works. *shrug*

Saturday I am OFF! If anyone wants to chill, let me know.

Shout-out to Spiffy!

Two More Days...

Today was one of the most boring days of my LIFE. All I did was bake a cake, study, eat, and shower. Tomorrow I have my internship from 9-3:30, piano lessons til 5, and my final for music management at 6. Wednesday I have an accounting and then I'm going to the beach with Tom and my dad. Thursday I have rehearsal and Friday I have my music history final. Then all I have left is a math final next Thursday and few more sessions at my internship at OperaDelaware. UGH I cannot wait for that to be done. I really like being there but I just hate driving back and forth to Wilmington for something for which I do not get paid.

I'm REALLY looking forward to summer but I need to find a second job. Any suggestions? Comment! :D

Lazy Sunday

So today was the 50th Anniversary Service for Hope Lutheran Church. After going to bed at 2am, I woke up around 7:15am, forewent my usual shower, and got dressed. I got to church around 8:10am and got ready for what I knew was going to be a busy morning.

Assorted choir members started to funnel in around 8:30 and my two soloists (both sopranos) arrived shortly after. We rehearsed until about 9:15, with the service starting around 9:30. The first reading was the famous one that begins the Bible - "In the beginning God created the world..." blah blah blah. Ugh it took like 6-7 minutes to read the first reading. I was zoning out. The Bishop gave the sermon - that was a cool experience. It's pretty cool to hear a true expert lecture you.

After two grueling hours of worship, the service finally ended. There were about 175 people in attendance so the line for food and drink was quite long. I hung out with my regular buddies - Paige, Greg, Roberto, Julian, and Harrison. I love those people. When we all decided to head out, I decided to go to Costco with the Espinas.

We got to Costco and it was packed, as usual. I pushed Lillian around in the cart for a while and then branched out with Roberto and Julian to explore the store. We finally rendezvoused after a half an hour and checked out. When we were leaving, we were met by about fifty other people waiting in the vestibule - it was raining cats and dogs! We waited for Robert to pull the van up so we could load it up with $450 worth of groceries. As I was leaving, I spotted plate 213 and PC524. Shortly after that, Josh (Alvina's boyfriend) sent me a picture of plate 585 that he spotted in Newark. So that was cool.

I got home, showered, and laid down for a few minutes. Shortly after, I went upstairs for dinner. My mom made an amazing batch of mussels marinara. UGH! It was so good! My Nana is also here - that was a nice surprise. After dinner I cleaned up and went back on the computer, which is what I've been doing ever since. I hope you all had a wonderful day! Oh, and shout-out to Danielle, my main homie. Peace, yo. Dawg. ... awkward.

Party!

Oh man! Tonight was a blast! It was the 50th anniversary dinner for my church and oh my gawd. We all had so much fun. We ate and drank (a lot) and danced for hours! That was exactly what I needed :]]

Oh and shout-out to Louis. :D

Blah!

I just feel like I'm always pushing against the current. I feel like no one shares my interests and it sucks because that makes me feel alone. Also I can't wait to move out. I'm so tired of doing all the freakin work around this house. It really isn't as bad as I make it out to be, but I just feel like I'm here and constantly being asked to do things for other people. BLAH give me hugs.

Another Boring Day.

Hey There!

It was another boring day. Got up, showered, went to the LAST CONCERT EVER! Then lunch with Lindsay and home. My mom and I went to the Farmers Market in Middletown - that was pretty cool. Then we went to Food Lion and got bananas and cake mix. Then when we got home, I baked a cake! It turned out really well but now my tummy hurts :[[

Greenville tomorrow!

TIREDDD.

Today was boring. Woke up at 7:51. Shower. OperaDelaware (internship). Greenville (PC38). Home. Family drama. Dinner. Computer. Danielle :]]

Wonderful Day :]

Today was an amazing day! I woke up around 7:45am and showered. Tom was headed over around 11am so I knew I had to get a few things done. First I called T-Mobile to resolve an issue with my BlackBerry - my text messages and call logs kept randomly deleting! I spoke to a rep from T-Mobile and, after about 20 minutes of deliberation, she decided that she should transfer me to BlackBerry support. After about an hour, the Blackberry technician helped me upgrade my device software which both resolved my issue and gave me a brand new OS. Tom came over and we immediately washed our cars. He opted to wax his car also so after I was finished washing my car, I helped him finish his.

After we washed our cars, we headed over to the Grotto's Pizza in Bear. Our final destination was Dover but, surprisingly, there are no Grotto's Pizza places between Bear and Lewes, which sucks. Right after lunch, we headed down to Dover and, among the tags we spotted, this was the best:
We also learned where Gov. Ruth Ann Minner's house is; alas, she wasn't home. We left Dover and Tom left as soon as we got home.

I just chilled on the computer til 7pm, when I had to leave for choir. My mom conned me into putting the dishes away before I left so I did that in record time haha.

I got to Hope at 7:30pm on the dot. Tonight was the first night since I've been at Hope that the choir and I truly made music. It was more than just reading notes on the page - it was making music together, where the notes were secondary. I left there in an amazing mood and I still am in an amazing mood! Shout-out to Danielle, Kelsi, and Jon!

Boringgg Day

Yeahh. Today was kinda lame - not gunna lie.

I woke up around 8:30 -dentist appointment at 9:15. I got there - got my teeth cleaned. Dentist said everything looked perfect. I left and as I was leaving, I spotted tag PC925. Sweet deal. I drove around Middletown for a few and then headed to Christiana Mall to meet my friend Aaron for lunch. We walked around the mall but it was empty and boring. Then we went to Don Pablos around 11am but it didn't open until 11:30. Needless to say, we went across the street to Houlihans. Our waiter turned out to be his friend so that was kinda nifty. It was after lunch that the fun started.

We walked out the door and right in front of us was a white Durango with black tag 979 on the back. We drove out of Houlihans and saw this:

After lunch, I drove Aaron back to his car. When I got out of the car, my jeans ripped ALL the way down my right leg haha. I was like "Uhh. Aaron. Crap." haha. We walked up to Aaron's car to listen to some music and he says "Dude. I have a bad feeling that I left my keys in the car." I look down at the passenger seat and there they are - his keys are sitting on the seat and the doors are locked. Long story short, I had to drive him to his mom's work to get the other keys and then back to the mall. Neat.

After that, I drove to church to start/finish/print my paper for music management. It was easy. I printed that off and left for Greenville to teach piano. That was easy too. While in Greenville, I spotted this:

After that, I headed to Newark to drop my paper off and then I headed home. The rest of the night was a blur, as I was pretty tired (and still am). I just installed Vista SP1 and IE8 Beta 1. Fun times! More on that later.

Night!

There's a First Time for Everything

OH MAN.

So my friend Andrew got me into this blogging thing. I think it's pretty cool for two reasons:
  1. I like to share my daily life with my family and friends
  2. I think it's cool to be able to look back on certain days and reminisce.
ANYWAY. Here's what happened today.

I was woken up around 7am to learn that my dad overslept and was running late - for his flight from PHL and I had to drive him up there. So I got dressed, we got in the car, and we left for Philly at around 7:10am.

So we're on the C&D Canal Bridge and we pull right behind plate PC22 - a neighbor. My dad was like "WHOA! PC22!" I was like "Oh I've seen that like 100 times AND they live right down the road." Yeahh. Then we hit mucho traffico but we got there around 8:15am.

After I dropped him off, I headed back to Delaware. I stopped at the McDonald's on Exit 2 in PA on I-95 to get some breakfast. When I was pulling out of the parking lot, I spotted PC969. Pretty decent sighting, being in PA and all. I decided to take 495 to US-13 and it was good thing that I did because when I got onto 13, I pulled RIGHT behind this:

That was pretty sweet :]

ANYWAY. About 15 minutes before I got home, I get a call from my mom, asking me to pick her up a coffee from Dunkin Donuts. No problem. When I pulled into the Dunkin Donuts shopping center, I passed plate 974. I swung around to get a picture of it - success. I got home, brought her the coffee, and then she asked me to take her car to get the tire plugged. Apparently it had been losing pressure and was getting flat. I went to our usual mechanic and he found a screw in there. It cost $15 to plug it - done and done. While I was waiting, I talked to the owner about the economy, the upcoming election, and his business. Cool guy - another example that you can't judge a book by its cover.

Instead of going home, I decided to drive down to Dover to see if I could find some nice low-digit plates. I drove all around - around Legislative Hall, the "Green", downtown Dover. It's a REALLY nice area - I'm going to start going more often. As far as plates go, I saw the following (in order of spotting):
  • PC525
  • PC84
  • PC95
  • 199
  • C731 (CORRECT now I have C731, PC731 and 731!)
  • PC766
  • C20 (UGH I've been tracking that plate down for SO long)
  • 535 (parked right next to C20)
  • PC395
  • 93
Not a bad day for sightings. In the midst of searching for plates, I accidentally went the wrong way down a one-way street. This black guy in a pickup truck (a sight you don't see everyday haha) pulled his window down and told me I was going the wrong way. As soon as he passed, a COP put his lights on and pulled me over. I told him it was an honest mistake and that I had never been in this area before. Luckily, he gave me a warning. Yay.

I headed back home and - of course - my mom calls me, asking me to pick up some pumpernickel bread from Super G. On my way to Super G, Brittany calls me and asks me to go to lunch. That was a nice surprise!

I picked her up and we went to North Star Grille in Middletown. I got a cup of crab bisque and the buffalo chicken wrap. The soup was good; the wrap - not so much lol. When we left there, plate C505 was right next to us. Today was SO good for plate spottings! Then I dropped Brit off and went home.

I chilled on the computer, went back to the bank, took a nap, talked to my buddies Danielle and Jon, ate dinner, emptied the dishwasher, played Crash Bandicoot with Justin, and now I'm chillin in my room!
