Damn Rain
Today was an interesting day. I woke up and showered - as usual. I went to church for my six-month review and it went surprisingly well. Pastor, Janine (the staff advocate), and I sat down and basically discussed my expectations for the summer in the office and other random stuff concerning the church, both short- and long-term. After my review, Pastor treated Kym and me to lunch over at Shellhammers in University Plaza - that's Pastor Narucki's favorite place to eat. After lunch, I went home and immediately went to cut my neighbor's grass over in Commodore 1. I started with his backyard, which is the size of my whole property pretty much haha. As soon as I cut the final blade of grass in the back, it started to drizzle - I knew it was time to head home. I left a note in his mailbox, telling him I would come by tomorrow and finish it. I headed home and chilled here for a bit. I left for the choir party at Kathy's around 5:15 but I stopped at Winner Porsche to get my new tag! Finally! Now I need to fax over my registration and get my black tag. Now all I need to do is decide if I want a porcelain tag (black & white) or a stainless tag (black & stainless steel). Hmm. Oh, and I got a check from the dealer for $49 for something or other. But that was a nice surprise. I left from there to go to Kathy's. The party was a lot of fun. The choir gave me two nice cards and a $100 gift certificate to the Kimmel Center, which is a perfect gift for me! During our mini-rehearsal, I really felt that we all connected and we are now a very cohesive group. I can't wait for the fall. On the way home, I accidently took a wrong turn and went all the way from Bear into Chesapeake City and eventually back to Middletown. I'm such a klutz haha. I got home and now I'm chillin, as usual. My second interview at Red Robin is on Saturday at 3pm. Hopefully I can start next week. I can't wait to pay off my credit cards! That will be an amazing feeling. Oh well. Soon enough. Good night!
